Your Story Can Have a Happy Ending

Just Like Mine Did and Continues Today

How many times have you ever strolled along the beach on a warm, beautiful day enjoying the sunshine, the waves gently lapping at your feet, perhaps looking down hoping to find that perfect, intact seashelland then there it is!

You bend down, excited at the treasure you’ve found, and examine it closely. The colors of the shell are exquisite, the shape is prettyand yet when you turn the shell over you see that it is empty.

It looks lovely on the outside, but the inside is empty and worn down.

And it hits you like a lightning bolt that this shell perfectly represents your life as you know it right now.

Your life on the outside looks perfect to everyone else. By anyone’s definition you’re smart, successful, busy, and it looks like you have great relationships in your life

Except that you feel like an empty shell of a person, giving everything to everyone else in your life, but leaving nothing for yourself.

You’re smiling on the outside, and dying on the inside, feeling overwhelmed by the stress, frustration and anger over responsibilities to others and relationships in your life.

When somethings got to change there are solutions to reducing stress, anxiety and overwhelm.

I’m Joanne King, and my friends call me the “Queen” of the Mindful Movement. I have advanced training in Mindfulness and helping people learn how to apply it in their lives. It’s based on the latest scientifically-backed, cutting-edge insights to help you flourish and can transform your mind and life in 10-minutes a day.

I’m the Creator of The GRACE Method, and best-selling author of the ground-breaking book, Too Good To Go, Too Bad To Stay, to help people in toxic relationships.

I guide smart, amazing women just like you on the path to finding their true, authentic life, loving themselves as they are, and empowering themselves in their lives and relationships.

You see, I know those feelings of helplessness, frustration, and despair when you feel like the life, you’re living isn’t really you. It’s hard to find anyone to confide in, you can’t really see outside of your situation, and it’s extremely painful to feel like your life isn’t really your own anymore.

There came a moment in my life when I realized that I had the power within myself to take control of my life and the only one who was responsible for my happiness was me. I decided to take small steps to empower myself and began a dedicated practice to yoga and mindfulness. This was something that was mine and no one could take away. I became a certified yoga instructor so I could pass this gift of mental clarity on to others.

My next small step (not so small really!) was to go back to school. I was hungry to feed my mind and soul and graduated the University of Hawai’i with a master’s degree in counseling psychology. Many people told me that I was too old and that I wouldn’t make it, but once I started, I knew betterbecause I knew myself.

“You Can't Stop the Waves, but You Can Learn to Surf”

–  Jon Kabat-Zinn

Taking everything I have learned about how mind and spirit work together, I knew I was called to counsel other women on how to make this happen for themselves. Guiding women to connect with their authentic selves to live their best life possible by tapping into their unique personal power.

Just taking that first small step on my true path, I now live a life that I’ve always dreamed of. I am independent, I live a peaceful and fulfilled life on the most beautiful place on the planet, I work for myself, and I have many friends who are my extended family “ohana” here on Maui. When I walk on the beach now, I appreciate the uniqueness of every shell I see and see that beauty reflected in the life I have now.

Building your new life is not only possible, but is absolutely extraordinary. You only need to make the decision to follow the path that is waiting for you and take that first small, brave step.
